White temperament, red attitudes
As a result of the positive experience with Pinot Noir in 1985, the idea arose to try a white grape grape variety. Since we could draw on the palette of Tino’s experience in France, we chose Riesling. Again, the choice has been of Rhine shoots in order to obtain the true essence of this wine: the freshness and minerality of a great white, the evolution and ageing potential of a great red.
The name of the Ranera wine comes from the frogs’ singing that can be heard in the evening. There is a small river in the lower part of the hill, making it the favourite place for these little animals.
