Barolo DOCG Bussia Dardi le Rose Riserva Beppe Colla

Barolo DOCG Bussia Dardi le Rose Riserva Beppe Colla

Dardi le Rose

We have decided to name a limited quantity of bottles after Beppe. We only produce this wine in great vintages. We organise our harvest in Roncaglie in 6/7 consecutive stages, according to the ripeness and quality of the grapes. Our area offers an incredible range of soils, so in the same vineyard we have significant differences. Out of the cask that we consider to be the best, we produce a limited number of bottles.

“Our” riserva.

Unlike the Riserva that can normally be purchased, we did not opt for a longer period in wood than our Barolo Bussia Dardi le Rose: the barrel is not essential to increase the ageing potential of a wine, instead, it often reduces its freshness and harmony. We have chosen to keep the wine longer in the bottle, until it is ready and balanced, bearing in mind what each vintage requires.
