Barbaresco DOCG Roncaglie Riserva Beppe Colla

Barbaresco DOCG Roncaglie Riserva Beppe Colla

Tenuta Roncaglia

We have decided to dedicate a limited quantity of bottles to Beppe. We only produce this wine in great vintages. We organise our harvest in Roncaglie in 7/8 consecutive stages, according to the ripeness and quality of the grapes. Our area offers an incredible range of soils, so in the same vineyard we have significant differences. Out of the cask we consider to be the best, we produce a limited number of bottles.

'Our' riserva.

Unlike the Riserva wines that can normally be purchased, we did not choose a longer period in wood than for our Barbaresco Roncaglie: the barrel is not essential to increase the ageing potential of a wine, but often reduces its freshness and harmony. Instead, we have chosen to keep the wine in the bottle longer, until it is ready and balanced, bearing in mind what each vintage requires.
